My First Marathon
I recently ran the St. Jude Memphis Marathon with my oldest son Sean. It was my first marathon and Sean’s second. Since I am a very slow runner, our stated goal was 5:45:00, but we were looking for a 5:30:00 pace. Before the race, I did a lot of reading, and developed what I thought was a good training program.
